"Please join Jubilate, the Women’s Choir of Corvallis, as we come together to rejoice in the changing seasons at our Spring concert. With our title theme, Nobody Gets Left Behind, this family friendly, one-hour program spreads a message of universal acceptance and joyfully presents the idea that all people and all music are welcome in our lives.
The concert will feature several favorite songs of inclusivity and social justice to inspire and connect: We Are the Ones by Sweet Honey in the Rock, The Storm is Passing Over by Charles Tindley, Warrior by Canadian composer Kim Baryluk, and Circle Round for Freedom by Linda Hirschhorn. Hallelujah, Amen and Scherzano Tuo Volto by George F Handel add a classical and joyous burst to the program.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to the performance. Tickets are available for advance purchase online at our website, www.jubilatechoir.org, and at Grass Roots Books and Music for $12, and for $15 at the door. Children 12 and under are free, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds."
