Oregon Mask and Gathering Coronavirus Rules Change Today: What You Need to Know

On June 12, the Oregon Supreme Court held that Governor Brown has the authority to take measures to respond to Covid-19 during Oregon’s state of emergency. As of June 30, the state of emergency has been extended through September 4. The Governor’s most recent rules, effective today, require people to wear masks outdoors if they cannot socially distance and limit indoor gatherings to 10 or fewer people. The latter does not apply to churches or businesses.
