TRLF Introductions: Attorney Amy Spangler

Introducing attorney Amy Spangler! Amy joined The Reynolds Law Firm in 2018. Her practice focuses on families, encompassing both family law and estate planning. Amy helps each client craft a solution that works best for the family and their specific needs.





Originally from Georgia, Amy attended Auburn University in Alabama where she graduated cum laude in 2009 with a BA in Political Science and minor is psychology. After serving two years in AmeriCorps on the West Coast, she decided to make Oregon her home. Amy graduated with honors from Lewis & Clark Law School in May 2015, where she earned a Public Interest Law Certificate with a focus in Family and Juvenile Law and Pro Bono Service Awards her second and third years of law school. During law school Amy was a Legal Analysis and Writing Fellow and an Executive Board Member of the Public Interest Law Project (PILP).

Prior to joining the Reynolds Law Firm, Amy practiced family law at St. Andrew Legal Clinic in Portland, Oregon. While in law school, Amy was a Certified Law Clerk with St. Andrew Legal Clinic, a legal advocate with Solid Ground in Seattle, Washington helping clients access public benefits, and a law clerk with Wiscarson Law, a small firm that focuses on special education law.

Amy truly loves the Pacific Northwest and has made it her home. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Jackson Street Youth Services, whose focus is giving youth a safe place to live and the resources to get them on the road to a better life. In her free time, Amy enjoys reading, hiking, camping, and spending time with her husband Brooks, their daughter, and their two dogs, Aubie and Bentley.
