TRLF Introductions: Attorney Erin Duncan

Introducing attorney Erin Duncan! Erin is an alumna of Seattle University and Lewis & Clark Law School, where she graduated with honors in May 2013 with a certificate in public interest law and a focus on civil rights. Before joining The Reynolds Law Firm in October 2014, she served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Jay A. McAlpin at Lane County Circuit Court in Eugene, Oregon.




Erin’s practice now focuses on family law, including dissolutions and separations, adoptions, custody, parenting plans, and protective orders. She has experience in high asset issues including retirement division and in high conflict parenting issues, including cases involving domestic violence and substance abuse. Erin is committed to being trauma informed in her work. She is a diligent advocate in court and is also trained in negotiation, helping clients realize their goals through creative problem solving. Erin is a skilled listener who helps clients navigate and prioritize financial, emotional, safety-based, and legal concerns when life feels overwhelming. With her legal expertise and calm guidance, Erin helps people manage difficult transitions and achieve stability.

Erin is also actively involved in the community. She is on the boards of the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation and the Linn-Benton Bar Association. She is a member of several local service and advocacy groups and was a participant in the 2015-16 class of Leadership Corvallis. She was a founding member of the Corvallis Changemakers group and received the Corvallis Chamber of Commerce’s “Junior First Citizen” award in January 2018. Erin has a special interest in domestic implementation of human rights norms. Her article, “The United States’ Maternal Care Crisis: A Human Rights Solution” was published in the Fall 2014 edition of Oregon Law Review.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys singing in Jubilate! choir, learning the banjo, cooking, and hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
